Ted Leeming is a landscape photographer based in Scotland. In addition to fine art photography, he has a special interest in images relating to renewable energy.
the brief
Ted wanted to sell his fine art prints online and also to create a searchable library of renewable energy images. He needed an admin interface which would give him a high degree of control over the layout of his portfolios whilst being easy to use. It was important that the options and pricing for prints and licences should be calculated automatically from a minimal amount of information entered alongside each image.
my role
Database design, PHP coding, Javascript coding, design of administration interface and shopping cart interface.
technical details
Built in PHP, outputting database-driven HTML (markup provided by designer). The admin interface makes some use of AJAX techniques. Each site includes a shopping cart which is fully integrated with paypal, including IPN verification and anti-fraud checks.
